The verve of the metro

I’ve been here less than 24 hours since arriving this morning and I can already feel the reverberating centeredness of Metro Manila. This is where important things are happening, and this is the place from where many, many things emanate.

Like blogging, for instance. Although we do have a good number of bloggers in Davao and blogging there is alive and, well, kicking, Manila is still where the highest concentration of bloggers can be found. Read on»

DTI bloggers

Today I’m going to conduct another blogging seminar at the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) - Region 11. The first one was last 1st March, and it was for SMEs in the Davao Region. This series of seminars on blogging as a tool for communication is a project of the DTI with the collaboration of Davao’s most active bloggers.

As the DTI’s private-sector consultant on the I.T. industry, I will make sure that this type of know-how exchange will be sustained. Read on»
