Finally — after 3 years!! — I got dabawenyo.com for myself. When I moved my I-love-Davao from Blogger to WordPress in February 2007, I wanted a good domain name for the new Web presence. Of course, all the names with just “davao” in it were already taken (including davao.net, which I used to own but stupidly gave up in 2001). The name “dabawenyo.com” was my next desire, but alas, it was not available. But yesterday, I finally acquired it! 
I plan to move the AngDabawenyo.com site to Dabawenyo.com very soon, but only after the new version of WordPress has been released to the public. Can’t wait! I have plans for WordPress 3.0 and another new domain name I got… More later!
