Themes for Plurkers
The Plurk microblogging platform has truly taken off in the Philippines. I think it would be safe to assume that Plurk has overtaken Twitter among Filipino netizens. And one who stands out in this population is the man behind remarkable Web 2.0 projects such as the Alleba Filipino Search Engine, Ratified.org and quite a few others: Andrew dela Serna.
Andrew, who hails from Davao City, has yet another undertaking to offer the world: Plurk Themes. For all Plurk addicts (or Plurkistanis or Plurkistas or whatever we happen to call ourselves), check out the growing number of themes that you can deploy to your Plurk profile automagically! Here’s what I’m using, called Okami.
Are you a designer? If you’d like to contribute your Plurk theme, just leave a comment anywhere on the site. I’m sure Andrew will give link-love and all that, and help spread the word about your designs. When people use your Plurk theme, you get that warm and fuzzy feeling… no monetary reward, but you just might get famous (like Jehzlau).
