MindanaoBloggers.com: a fresh look
[UPDATED]
After two successful Mindanao Bloggers Summits, the MindanaoBloggers.com site has now undergone a complete redesign. The community blog debuted with the Darn Slick Gadgets WordPress theme by Andrew dela Serna, plus Jojie Alcantara’s awesome photos for the header.
For posterity, here’s that brilliant header that we’ve all enjoyed seeing on the MindanaoBloggers.com blog for about one and a half years.
This time, we’re using another Mindanaoan’s WP theme. It’s called Rewire by ChiQ Montes of Cagayan de Oro City. ChiQ is a designer whose blog themes belong to the best of the world! Her themes are professionally crafted and are fully compliant with WordPress standards.
I’ve finished porting all of the backend stuff to the new theme templates, but the design is not yet complete. I wish we could have a header image again. Oh, ChiQ… I hope you’re reading this. 
Here’s to many more years to come for Mindanao Bloggers!!
[Update: 2008-12-01]
The MB Blog Directory is out of commission for the meantime. The plugin that I’ve used to run the directory is showing signs of incompatibility with the latest version of WordPress, you see. And, it’s no longer being supported by the plugin author. Bummer. So, Winston and I are looking for other ways to do it. Abangan ang susunod na kabanata…

About the update of the post.
Do you mean 2.6.5 or 2.7 RC 1?
Well, it’s still a release candidate.
You can downgrade and stay on WP 2.6.5 sa MB naman e
