Kudos to Drew and Winston!
I’m very proud to congratulate my fellow Mindanao bloggers, Andrew dela Serna and Winston Almendras, for each bagging an award at today’s Philippine Blog Awards.
Andrew won the Special Award for Best Blog Plugin/Extension. He developed a WordPress plugin that lets bloggers track the traffic of their blog posts, and gives them a nifty dashboard widget that shows aggregate statistics. The plugin is called Daily Top 10 Posts.
Winston garnered the most number of bloggers’ votes, which landed him the PBA Bloggers’ Choice Award for 2008. Winston’s blog, Batang Yagit, is a personal blog that chronicles his struggles, experiences, achievements, and contributions to the blogosphere (my words). Together with the Mindanao Bloggers group, and all those who voted for Winston, we are all proud of this guy!
