“Blogging from Home”

My good friend has done it again! I.T. consultant, events organizer, blogger, businesswoman, writer — Janette Toral has done much in contributing to the development of the local I.T. industry, as well as to Filipino entrepreneurship. This time, she has authored another book that is going to become a rich resource for a growing number of personal publishers out there. The book is called Blogging from Home.

Blogging from Home Blogging from Home is based on Janette’s wealth of personal experience in the blogosphere. As the lead organizer of the annual iBlog event, as well as the initiator and host of the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs online writing project, Janette is certainly considered an expert in this field.

Her latest book is a tremendous help! It contains very practical guidelines on creating, maintaining, promoting and monetizing blogs. The literature is organized well and reads through like butter on toast. I recommend it to everyone who wants to take up blogging seriously.

Janette was in fact the one who urged me to move my writing onto the Internet. I had been blogging already, but only as a passing fancy. It was only in late 2006 that I really put time and effort into blogging, prodded ever so subtly but effectively by my friend and mentor.
