More bloggable activities in Davao

What is the driving force behind all these blogging-related activities that I’ve been organizing since last year? Honestly, it’s all about content generation. Christian on Bankerohan See, it’s not easy to keep writing and updating one’s blog (let alone multiple blogs, for some of us who maintain more than one or two). So why not create bloggable happenings?

Very recently — although this involved only one blogger and two amateur photographers — we did a photo shoot of the newly-constructed Bankerohan Bridge. And this type of activity is something I’d like to see more of (especially now that the camera bug has bitten me…).

Photo shoots are best done when there’s a subject in focus, or a theme. One other picture-taking session I’ve thought of doing will center on the full moon. Chattee on Bankerohan I hope to gather a good number of photo buffs and bloggers to take their best shots of the next full moon, which will be on 18 July.

I wonder where, though? Well, the moon rises majestically from behind my parents’ house… Hopefully, the folks will let me bring a dozen or so people over for the activity.

Another bloggers’ event I’m thinking of is a kind of meme game but with a twist. It will be an online scavenger’s hunt. I’ve done this a long time ago, and it would be fun to do it again, especially with bloggers. More on that later!

If you have ideas for more blogging events in Davao, drop me a line.

Of course, we’ll never get tired of food-tripping. Speaking of which, there’ll be one tonight at Banana Leaf. They’ve asked me to invite three more bloggers for dinner to try their new menu. Andrew, Ria and Kim will be joining me there.

Photography is expensive not only because the equipment are high-priced, but also because it’s a never-ending list of wants!! :D

Right Blogie. I quit the hobby because my SLR got smashed when I was drunk and I don’t have the budget to have it repaired or buy a new one. Haha!
