Off to another blogging workshop
This is the third time that I’ve been invited to conduct a seminar-workshop on blogging by the Department of Trade & Industry. This time it’s for DTI - Tagum City. Apparently, one of the participants in the 2nd seminar is from Davao del Norte Province, so now they want their own.
As before, I’ve invited Ria to partner with me in conducting the seminar in Tagum. So tomorrow early morning we’re going on a one-hour bus ride to the north.
Speaking of blogging, today I was at a Western Union branch to collect my Adsense earnings for April. The agent asked me, “Sir, if I may ask, why is Google sending you money?”
That was the second time I received funds at that branch. And the agent said that was the second time that someone had collected funds from Google Inc. He was also perplexed why people were receiving non-whole-number amounts.
Good thing that he did know what Google was, and what blogs were.
His question got me thinking, though. There are still so many out there who don’t know about making money online. This means that I have my work cut out for me. More blogging workshops for Mindanao!
I agree with you that not all people know that you can earn money online. Even my parents don’t believe that I earn from blogging
a blogging workshop? wow cool.. never heard of one here in my city.. cagayan de oro.. maybe i should promote it here or something, lol.
