Sorry, Aileen, it took me so long to reply to your latest meme game.
So, this one’s about my funniest childhood memory. I don’t know if this is really my funniest, or if it’s even funny to other people… but when I sat down to write this post, this was what came to mind.
My eyebrows each have a thorn-like upward point at the outer edges. When I was much younger, these protrusions were a lot more prominent than they are today. I didn’t really get teased back in grade school for having such unique eyebrows, but they really bothered me back then. Another flashback I had just now: whenever my folks would bring me to the barbers, they’d always tell the barber to take care not to snip my eyebrows!
One day — this was way back when I was in Grade 4 or 5 — my little brother and I were playing in my parents’ room, and I chanced upon Pop’s razor. Next thing I knew, I was facing the mirror and thinking of shaving the edges of my eyebrows! My brother begged me not to do it lest I get spanked for it. But I did it anyway, with as much care as my little fingers could manage.
Following day, Mom sat me down and looked intently at my face. She said I looked different somehow. Lo and behold! Normal eyebrows on Blogie! I meekly reasoned that I didn’t want to get bullied when I got to high school for having weird-looking eyebrows. I was close to tears seeing Mom’s disapproving glare, but then she laughed and mussed my hair and told me not to worry. To my chagrin, she predicted that my eyebrows would grow back soon enough. Which they did eventually.
In high school, the girls — and even some guys — thought my devilishly cute eyebrows were quite attractive! I think I might even have snagged a couple of dates just by furrowing my brows…
OK, I tag these guys: Honey, Misterhubs (this time, do the meme ok? hehehe), Jojie, and Abaniko.

I’m thinking of posting my grade school yearbook photo here, so you can see what I mean.

If you have something unique in you, I guess this would happen:
Childhood - they will tease you about it
Teen - you are popular because of it
Adult - they can easily tell who is your son
